sit in the green light
that shines life across the sands;

sit down beside strangers,
see neighbours, family, friends;

lift your eyes past the setting
sun, raise your sight beyond –

as I lift these gifts before
you, for you, blessed in my hands.

eat this food, be nourished,
flourish, for I will heal your wounds

as you sit in the green light
glowing life across the sands.
